What will happen to the planet?

March 16th, 2011

The year 2011 didn’t start really well, when natural disasters strike various countries with its might.

One of these events were vast floods across our sunshine state QLD, then the next was an earth shattering quake in our neighbouring country New Zealand.

Now the most recent event is the devastating tsunami and earthquake in Japan.  Not only has Gaia created fear and devastation but now add human designed risks like a nuclear reactor melt down to the mix.

Could this be a reminder to us to think about being considered and compassionate not only other fellow human but to the whole planet?

In times like these my thoughts and prayers are with all those who are amits their darkest hour.

New PSP or ‘the NGP’

January 31st, 2011

I haven’t been following the consoles and hand held gadgets for some time, however the recent announcement from Sony that their latest version of the PSP – the NGP is getting my attention.

I suppose it is a more drastic improvement since Sony had a run of new gadgets launched in the market related to gaming.

The article here at engadget: Sony PSP – the NGP contains the Sony Press release information.

Now I have to somehow save up enough money to get myself one of these :D .

This will be tricky with so many other priorities involved.

I guess this one will be more at the bottom of the list. :)

New Life on it’s way :)

January 25th, 2011

I guess it does provide an advantage whereby I have a blog which isn’t viewed as often as I wanted it to be.

Though that is actually allowing me to write up little posts that could go totally undetected :) .

The big news I suppose is, Liza and I are expecting a little one…hehehe…

We had our first look at our child yesterday, and I have to admit it was a moment of mixed emotions. I mean I could have never imagined myself to become a parent :) .

It is exciting for both Liza and I, and we can’t wait to see the baby on our next visit with the Ultrasound folks :)

So for now, I will leave the post where it is and will write another update soonish :) .
